The 15th International Conference on X-ray Absorption Fine Structure (XAFS15) will be held in Beijing, China during 22-28 July, 2012. It is cohosted by University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS).

   The XAFS Conference constitutes an international series held every three years. The latest four XAFS conferences took place in Camerino, ITALY (2009), Stanford U.S.A. (2006), Malmo, Sweden (2003) and Ako, Japan (2000).

   X-ray Absorption Fine Structure is a powerful technique for many scientific fields to study electronic and real space structure of various materials. The scope of the conference aims at XAFS and all the related techniques and topics. All the experimental and theoretical topics will be covered. The conference series keeps attracting both academic and industry related participants all the time.
